Yes, He's Real
Monday, December 12, 2011
After my last post I received a ton of emails saying that they didn't know I even had a husband. Well, I haven't written about him on this blog for a couple of reasons.
One is that for the last several years things haven't been that great. We were both walking the fence during our daily lives as partners and in our marriage. We've both made mistakes, but in our time away from family, kids, business and every other chaotic aspect of our lives we do great.
The other reason I haven't written about him much is for his privacy and the fact that I didn't want anything I might have written taken out of context by anyone (as it has been far too often) and having more hot coals heaped upon our heads than we already have.
We have enough going on without the whispers and gossip of others that don't know the full story. If there is any couple out there that hasn't had problems I'd be really surprised. If there's any couple out there that thinks only one partner has been wrong, they're delusional. People have tended to read things into what I write without knowledge of the full situation. To those people I'd say, judge not lest ye be judged and let him without sin cast the first stone. Point being, none of us is perfect. We've all made mistakes. My husband and I are still here, we're still one. We love each other despite the flaws.
I've put together a slideshow to show you all that my husband, and my marriage, is indeed real. He's not an imaginary guy, but a real, live, breathing, tattooed (go figure), Harley riding, wife loving, Texan.
So here we are, and here we'll stay.

NIce video. Hope all is well. And I share the same passion as you for expensive shoes. I am seriously considering giving them up in the New Year. Is it possible? I'm not sure. I am a slave to CL's. You and your husband make a nice looking couple!
Cute video and very true post!!!
I didn't know anyone didn't know.
You’re right, people do tend to fill in the gaps for themselves. And, there isn’t such thing as a perfect couple, let alone a perfect person. Here’s to making the best of what we’ve got and who we are.
Sometimes it's just easier to leave people out. I don't blame you a bit!
I almost used his name...yikes!
Your hubby is one of my favorite people even though he can piss me off like no other but I think you understand. So often I think of his kind words...words he said when he didn't have too. And these jugdemental fuxks never to get over and realize that believe it or not after a lifetime of marriage nothing is going to change the way you too love each other...they need to get the fuck over it.
I am so glad things are going better. I'm kinda surprised that people did NOT know you had a husband! He's been there from day one in my perspective, but it is true you don't talk too much about him on this blog. I figured it was to avoid exactly what you just said.
HUGS HUGS HUGS HUGS to you!
Thanks Nolie!

Thank you! We do have a great time together.
Cloudia, most times I think that's best.
Love of The Sea.....Just say NO to saying No to expensive shoes! lol
Thanks Debbie!
Mark, I didn't either?

They do fill them in and tend to fill them in with the worst possible thoughts.

I'm glad you understand, it really is!

He loves you too. And there are some people that will look for any reason to cause a problem. Love you!
Furry Bottoms;
Thanks, they are better. And Thank you!!
That's so funny to me that people didn't realize you had a husband. I feel like you HAVE mentioned him and or talked about him a lot throughout your posts. Well, not recently, that is true, but even still. Anyway....so glad that things are better and you guys are happier now. Marriage is def hard, that's for sure.
<3 I love you two!!! You're such a great couple! <3
Those were fabulous photo's. And you looked happy in them. I can't believe some people didn't know you had a husband. hmmmm. maybe they are speed readers and passed over that part.
Ms Diva,
Thanks for sharing your personal story. It reminds us that a marriage isn't always easy, and that it takes two to make it work. Glad you're still together. I love the photos...I see a lot of love there. Such a handsome couple!

Fabulous video! and the song you chose was perfect! ... You look so happy together and like you have a lot fun with each other. The last photo of your hubby with the furbaby.. priceless!
You are absolutely right, people often offer "their" opinions based on what "they" think they would in certain situations... unless they are living it , they will never know how they would handle/react to something.
You go girl!! xo HHL
Yep, I'm one of those people who was surprised to find that you even had a husband! I wouldn't have expected you to tell-all about him, but I don't even remember one reference to his existence (although maybe I missed it)!
Anyway, glad to hear you're working on it. It's all we can all do. Marriage is hard.
Diva,
it's nobody's business, actually, if you have a husband or not.
We all have our issues... & I'm glad you are working on yours.
Love Ya. Xx Looove the video :)
Love the slideshow.
I wish the two of you the best of everything.
Thank you for sharing.
LOVE the video!!
You don't have to explain ANYTHING to ANYONE. But thank you for the video. It was awesome!
Your video made me smile.
I think at times, it is easy to forget that nobody is perfect.
I'm glad nobody is, things would be very boring otherwise.
And, as much as I know it must have driven you "crazy", I'm glad your husband gave you a "wake up-call". You know how they say "You don't know what you've got 'til its gone"...Its good that you remembered what you have before it got to that.
No one can understand what there is between you and your husband, except the two of you and at the end of the day that's all that matters and that's all who truly needs to know.
Oh, you're written about your husband okay, but I've never seen so many photos of him, and they were much appreciated.
Thanks Snowbrush :)
I knew you were married. I guess I've been reading long enough to have read about him. Love the slide show.
This video is so awesome.. but I what I really wanted to say is that the music could not have any more perfect for the two of you.. I loved it.. You done good kiddo..
I really enjoy your blog! I'm new here to blog world. I can totally understand leaving certain people out of your blog. I'm doing the same. And as for people who judge, they are usually the ones that are more messed up. Just saying. We all make mistakes and no one is perfect. Thanks for you honesty and blog sweetie! :)
